Job Description: Engineering (Software) Intern

Position Summary:

-Provides functional and empirical analysis related to the design, development, and implementation of software systems, including, but not limited to application software, utility software, development software, and diagnostic software.
-Participates in the development of test strategies, devices, and systems.
-Have the technical background and skills to perform in all phases of software design, development, documentation, and implementation.
-Ability to design and develop with of advanced networking techniques.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

-Translate design into software code
-Integrate COTS and GOTS products into existing system
-Perform Unit and System Level Testing of requirements
-Track and submit progress and metric reports as required

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Competencies:

-Ability to debug software
-Ability to write and execute Unit and Integration test cases
-Experience with C++ preferred
-Experience with Eclipse preferred
-Experience with Visual Studio 2012 preferred
-Experience with Subversion preferred

Desired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Competencies:

-Preferred degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related scientific or technical discipline At CGI, we're a team of builders.
