Key Role:
Provide systems engineering and integration support to facilitate the SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific (SSC Pacific) Government team in the critical design of information technology (IT) infrastructure for the new USSTRATCOM Command and Control facility. Provide IT infrastructure requirements analysis and develop candidate architectures, standards, and integrated solutions based on existing technologies, life cycle planning, prototype demonstration, testing and evaluation, and technical documentation to support accreditation, procurement, and implementation in the new C2 facility. Perform engineering analysis and prepare integration designs for an IT infrastructure in collaboration with the onsite government team, including design and implementation of complex mission systems, installation of C2 and mission systems, and the security posture of each system. Propose engineering solutions that adopt, adapt, and integrate mature, proven technologies, reflect best commercial practices, including viable options or alternatives to the extent possible. Assist with performing and documenting results of functional analysis, develop and document prototype hardware and software components and subsystems to provide required functional capabilities, or improve the performance of information processing and data transport. Support system design and final system design documents and draft required engineering input to procurement and implementation program artifacts, including documents required for procurement, configuration management, and certification and accreditation. Provide proof of concept and implementation for collaboration with a government team to prepare test and evaluation plans, procedures, and analyses approaches to develop, verify, or test assigned portions of the system design, as required.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:-2+ years of experience with System Design, C4I Installation, and Troubleshooting-2+ years of experience with C4I system integration-2+ years of experience with working in a COTS UNIX & PC-based hardware environment-1 year of experience in a testing environment-Experience with planning and implementing security measures on all information systems-Experience with establishing security policies and procedures-Experience with designing, implementing, and securing enterprise architectures-Knowledge of existing USSTRATCOM systems and missions-Ability to analyze system requirements and develop technical solutions-TS/SCI clearance-BA or BS degree in Engineering

Additional Qualifications:-1 year of experience with software and hardware site installations for C2/Mission Systems Command and Control (C2) System Administration preferred-Knowledge of command and control and communications systems-Knowledge of command center operations-BA or BS degree in EE, CS, or Physics

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
