Description
Key Role:
Serve as an information assurance (IA) analyst, providing subject matter expertise and serving as the focal point for all IA and certification and accreditation (C&A) activities to support the designated accrediting authority (DAA). Work on a team, overseeing all IA and C&A activities for joint command control systems under the authority of the DAA, including Global Command and Control System - Joint (GCCS-J), Global Combat Support System - Joint (GCSS-J), Agile client, Status of Resources and Training System (SORTS), and code word, nickname, and exercise system (NICKA), hosted on either NIPRnet, SIPRnet, or other classified networks or as standalone. Provide IA advice, guidance, and assistance to the DAA and staff, assigned program managers, systems managers, certifying authority (CA), information assurance managers (IAMs), and IA officers (IAOs). Package and review C&A products created by the program management offices, developing, integrating, testing, and transitioning JC2 systems to comply with national and DoD information assurance policies.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
-3 years of experience as an information assurance analyst on DoD projects
-3 years of experience with the DoD IA major driving policies, including DoD 8510.01, such as DIACAP, DoDI 8500 series, such as information assurance, or CNSSI 1253
-Knowledge of existing USSTRATCOM systems and missions
-Ability to analyze system requirements and develop technical solutions
-TS/SCI clearance
-HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with analyzing security policies and procedures
-Knowledge of command and control and communications systems
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
