Description:

The Software Engineer will be responsible for the operations, maintenance, and development of technical projects primarily for the enterprise content management systems (ECMS).

Primary responsibilities include:

- Work on tasks to ensure day-to-day O&M (operations and maintenance) is complete and system is available and stable.
- Provide fact-finding and research as required for assigned projects.
- Develop and deploy various sized projects within the ECMS environment.
- Collaborate with solution development teams, system engineers, DBAs, and business analysts to define functional requirements, while designing and architecting information technology solutions.
- Design operational test and evaluations based on research and analysis.
- Work closely with customers and developers to resolve production issues/outages and must be available to be on call.
- Provides technical direction, leadership, and training of less experienced staff.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:

- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline coupled with 4+years' experience with Java.
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience with server software applications such as WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss or Tomcat.
- Complete knowledge of content management systems (i.g. as Documentum, Stellent, Filenet, or Kofax)

Desired Qualifications:

- Knowledge of Google Search Appliance
- Knowledge of web technologies: CSS, WSDL and XML
- A minimum of one year of SOA/Web service experience
