Leads the development of cost-effective information technology solutions by creating new, and modifying existing, software applications. Analyzes complex systems requirements, existing business processes, and information systems. Codes, tests, and debugs documents, and implements software applications. Undertakes complex projects requiring additional specialized technical knowledge. Coordinates with users to determine requirements that are more complex.

Senior applications developer with experience in IBM Streams Processing Language (SPL), the programming language for IBM InfoSphere Streams. Very strong development skills in Object Oriented and parallel programming with C++. Experience with analytics software such as SPSS. Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux Commands Knowledge and application of large distributed systems. Strong background with parallel programming algorithms. ETL concepts data capture, management, data quality.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and eight years related work experience or twelve years related work experience post high school
- Three years systems development experience
- Three years coding experience
- Three years software application experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of the model view architecture.
Data analytics, Business Intelligence and warehouse development with IBM InfoSphere Streams,Neteeza. Understanding of system design and development through scaling, performance, and scheduling.
