Systems Analyst

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a Systems Analyst to join our client in Overland Park, KS.

Job Responsibilities:

- Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems.
- Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.
- Prepares detailed specifications and design documents from which programs will be written.
- Analyzes and revises existing system logic and documentation as necessary.
- Configures system settings and options, including maintaining system reference data, user level access, and internal workflow settings.
- Plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing for IT code releases.
- Identifies systems operational issues and coordinates resolution with various global teams.
- This position may require travel of up to 10%-15% in support of major projects.

Job Qualifications:

- Job requires a level of knowledge typically gained through a combination of a college degree and/or relevant experience, totaling 7 years post-high school
- Experience with business systems operations; requirements management, systems administration, software development, or data analysis/reporting.
- Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Structured Query Language (SQL), and other query/database tools.
- Ability to evaluate complex situations and make quick decisions using good judgment.
- Experience with project management, leadership of project implementation.

Preferred Job Skills/Experience/Knowledge:

- Prior Telecommunications, Work Force Management, or Call Center Operations experience is desired.
