Position Title Tech Project/Program Manager III

Position Summary

Researches, designs, plans, develops and/or evaluates new, advanced network technologies by translating customer requirements or strategic business objectives into final product design for projects of highest complexity and multiple technologies. Work typically includes in-depth assessment of the customer's networked application needs, providing network modelling and simulation testing, consulting to further clarify needs, and engineering high-speed technology network transports to deliver application functionality. Uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve very complex issues in creative and effective ways.

Manages all aspects of diverse, medium to moderately complex technical projects, including project planning, execution, timing, functionality, quality, and cost. Manages budgets, invoices, and project timelines. Works across multiple teams and organizations to ensure project completion. Utilizes expertise and leadership skills to direct team members and to resolve issues to ensure project goals and requirements are met. Communicates with end-users to provide timely and accurate information and status updates.

As a Technical Project/Program Manager III, you will play an integral part in the preparation of major proposals and complex contracts for 3G RAN Network projects that significantly impact Sprint. You will represent the organization as the principal customer contact and be an advocate for the organization s interests in discussions with other Sprint groups. You will use your expertise and leadership skills to resolve issues to ensure organizational requirements are met. You will work with other organizations to establish objectives and in turn negotiate favorable prices, terms and conditions of the largest and most complex contracts while ensuring compliance with all laws, regulations, and company policies. You will be responsible for preparing and supporting major proposals that will facilitate Sprint needs, processes and policies while also coordinating the requirements of all parties involved. You will communicate with company management and internal business customers to provide timely and accurate information and status updates. This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. You must have experience working across organizational lines and with outside vendors. This position will support Network Engineering Deployment for the 3G Network Development Teams.

- Experience working with complex contract documents.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Three years experience managing technical projects
- Three years experience with reporting and budgets

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree and four years related work experience or eight years related work experience post high school
- Three years experience with research, design, planning and development of new advanced network technologies, network components and radio frequency (RF) and/or wireless transmission
- Two years project management and project implementation experience

Preferred Qualifications

- A combination of education and related work experience totaling at least 12 years post high-school.
- RF Engineering and/or Core Network experience.
- Experience with simultaneously managing multiple projects "> ">
