Position Title Technical Project Manager III
Position Summary Manages all aspects of diverse, medium to moderately complex technical projects, including project planning, execution, timing, functionality, quality, and cost. Manages budgets, invoices, and project timelines. Works across multiple teams and organizations to ensure project completion. Utilizes expertise and leadership skills to direct team members and to resolve issues to ensure project goals and requirements are met. Communicates with end-users to provide timely and accurate information and status updates.
Candidate will be part of Small Cell Planning, Strategy and Standards team within Network Planning organization. Put your analytical and problem-solving skills to work by providing analysis that may identify business trends and results. Research, plans, develop and/or evaluate project risks for network engineering projects. Work typically includes in-depth assessment of project needs and requirements for Small Cells Network build outs.Lead cross-functional teams driving the strategy planning activities and project plans. Develop the project plan, managing the scope, schedule, and cost of the project. Coordinate efforts and shares information with the cross-functional teams and extended team members to ensure robust network plans. Communicate openly and provide regular updates to team members, peers and senior management regarding service development. Work closely with assigned business and development resources to identify and resolve issues. Communicate and prioritize identified issues to development team and fix agents for analysis and timely resolution. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with Network, business team, and support organizations.Perform analysis of business and financial data that pertain to development of concepts and projects, including supporting business case development and concept initiation. Provide reporting solutions and data metric analysis that may identify business trends and results. Utilize data analysis to explain business issues and financial implications, enabling business unit to improve the business plans and strategies. Utilize project management skills to get agreement from all stakeholders and business teams. Work with various management teams and business units to accomplish objectives.
This position requires strong leadership skills and ability to serve as a program lead. Put your analytical and problem-solving skills to work by providing analysis that may identify business trends and results.
RF Engineering Knowledge
Experience in managing RF Engineering projects like Network build outs, Capacity deployments and network modernization
Strong written and oral communication skills
Experience with iDAS and ODAS solutions and deployments
Data analysis skills using excel and other wireless data tools
RF Engineering background to include capacity and coverage analysis
Strong presentation and upper management executive briefing skills
Strong knowledge of CDMA, EVDO, and LTE Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree and four years related work experience or eight years related work experience post high school
- Three years experience managing technical projects
- Three years experience with reporting and budgets
