Position Description:

Leads the application development process and activities for major corporate functions (Reinsurance, Finance etc) including analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation, monitoring
and support of new and/or existing systems or technology platforms.

Oversee systems and process design, development, and systems maintenance across multiple platforms
(eg, mainframes, micros, and workstations) and multiple businesses; support corporate and business area systems, distributed processing, client server, internet/intranet and Web site applications.
Manage and provide overall guidance/direction to systems development teams and IT managers and is
responsible for technical oversight and resource management. Oversee technologically diverse staff of
30 to 100+ resources (employees, contractors, vendors) and a budget equivalent to $10-15+ million,
across multiple businesses
Partner directly with key business leaders in multiple business areas and provides strategic system solutions to
business initiatives, and consult with multiple business area management regarding technical alternatives or
enhancements that are consistent with business strategy or industry practice and architecture guidelines.
Direct and monitor technology investments, platform integration, systems architecture, and software
integration.
Direct responsibility for management of group performance evaluations, promotional approvals, and
compensation recommendations. Select and manage strategic vendors and outsourcing partners.

Position Requirements
Work as a change agent for the Enterprise Finance Transformation group to drive organizational and process change
Ensure requirements are met by the global template
Responsible for overall planning and execution, working with the GSSC global deployment team
Accountable for process changes throughout the business
Coordinate project deployments with other initiatives
Identify and secure Full time project resources and subject matter experts
Responsible for testing and business cutover activities
Drive change management activities for the business, including role mapping activities
Monitor country participation in deployment activities (eg, design workshops, user acceptance testing, training) and supports resolution of issues (where applicable)
Responsible for Go/No-Go criteria and assessments (integration test and production)
Facilitate meetings with Deployment Committee to ensure organizational readiness and sponsor commitment for deployment
Accountable for achieving the timelines of the overall rollout schedule
Accountable for the go-live readiness of each release

Experience/Qualifications:
Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of underwriting, claims and reinsurance processes, including an ability to analyze and design processes
Ability to review project deliverables for completeness and quality, and compliance with established project standards
Strong interpersonal and communications skills
Project management experience
Financial system implementation experience a plus
Prior consulting experience a plus
