Position Description:

Manage a team that includes BW/BI/BOBJ development leads and individual contributors
Liaison with other verticals leads to work on projects that improve system performance, faster reporting capabilities, provide latest trends of reporting to power users
Establish communication with customers to protectively analyze future needs. Strong partnership and advisory role with customers to propose best delivery methods of information.
Working closely with project teams to monitor projects and overall progress of deliverables.
Measure and plan staffing levels
Coordinate estimates requested by project manager upon in-take forms submissions
Monitor deliverables and team effort against estimates
Coordinate assignment of project and enhancement to resources with proper formation of teams
Preparation of employee development plans, appraisals for members of the team
Ensure Manage Service providers are delivering BW/BI service to the satisfaction of the customers
Understand and comply with development standards as well as proposed and implement efficiencies on data load and reporting jobs
Coordinate capacity and distribute workload among other team members
Must have a complete understanding of the entire BW architecture and the data life cycle
Experience with acceleration technology, HANA
Knowledge of data extraction from SAP modules (ECC, BPC) into BW.
Works with the Front End development team to provide accurate data to the business.
Works with Data modeler and Architecture Services to Develop data models within BW for DSOs and Cubes, may act as data modeler at times
Ensure documentation is in place required for Change Management and Compliance groups

Position Requirements
Minimum of 10 years of hands on experience building SAP BW extractors in BW, with PSA, DSO (ODS) and cubes
Must have knowledge of financial application and processes
Experience motivating staff and creating teams for full SDLC and rapid development
Excellent communications skills, issue resolution, negotiations for prioritization of projects
Experience with finance processes and reporting needs
Must have current knowledge and experience with SAP BW 7.3
Excellent written and verbal communications
Strong analytical skills solving problems outside the norm challenges
Good communication skills (written and verbal)
Good understanding of solid architecture principles, adoption or principles and experience to influence designs according to customer needs
Adaptability and flexibility to adjust to process transformation activities
