Financial/Business Analyst - Latin America
Job Function
This position resides in RI but assists the regional Latin America locations and local management teams to develop the business, in line with corporate guidelines, through the development, interpretation and implementation of strong financial and business analytical models/tools. This role while mainly financial in nature will require active involvement and analysis of marketing and operations functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analysis of business reporting and forecasting packages, comparisons with budget, identification of trends and working with local management to resolve any issues.
- Analysis of marketing TLP's and to lead and integrate regional information into global TLP systems and roll out systems within the region
- Analysis of inventory holding, commitments and forecasting at both local and regional level.
- Involvement in the budget process and assist in preparation of regional budget packages for senior management.
- Analytical support in assembly of country & regional review presentations
- Liaise with shared services teams in relation to inquiries and transactions for the region.
- Coordinate SOX assessments, liaise with corporate compliance group and internal audit department for the assessment preparations, maintenance and resolution of issues
- Maintain SOX control structure in Certus
- Assist Latin America management in the implementation of business process procedures and maintain Approvals Manuals
Education, Knowledge Skills and Experience required:
- Prefer Graduate level education, in business or financial discipline.
- Experience of 2-3 years in finance preferred
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint & SAP.
- Strong analytical skills & close attention to detail.
- Ability to dissect & consolidate information in a useful manner
- Bilingual in Spanish is necessary/Good communication skills.
- Some limited travel within the region may be required.
