Job Description: AZ ERP Technical Lead Technical Lead

In the role of a Technical Manager candidate will have the ability to formulate, guide, and review technical approaches/solutions and provide alternative solutions as needed to address performance/cost/etc. Application architecture background is a plus.

A person that has technical lead and manager experience; who has a very strong development background, but also management experience and expertise. It will be someone that has to assist with the technical solutions that we put forth as a product; participate in reviews and help with the technical direction; assist and help juggle multiple technical tasks; manage as needed a diverse staff including remote and offshore.

Essential

Skills:

- Solid understanding of the entire life cycle of IT development projects, as well as software development methodologies
- Knowledge of project management principles and processes which span the enterprise, particularly the creation and maintenance of a project plan and schedule using MS Project
- Strong team building and facilitation skills, including leading meetings, presentation skills, problem resolution/mediation
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels
- Excellent organizational skill and strong initiative to help solve problems and eliminate roadblocks as well as embraces change and can adapt easily to changing priorities
- Experience with Object Oriented Programming (eg Java)
- Strong knowledge of enterprise size applications, including architecture, performance, scaling, etc.
- General experience with DBMS; SQL Server, Oracle, and DB2
- General experience with Application Operational and Maintenance processes
- General experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server and HTTP Server
- Understanding of general enterprise infrastructure, including network and storage, and able to communicate with technical experts in these fields
- Strong knowledge using office productivity tools (eg, Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
