Citrix Engineer

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a Citrix Engineer to join our client in Phoenix, AZ.

Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical lead/architect for the Arizona Department of Transportation's server-based Computing (Citrix) technology refresh project.
- Design, implement, maintain and perform proactive performance tuning and risk mitigation for the Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop environment.
- Utilize approved processes and toolsets to maintain software, firmware, and patch levels, as needed.
- Mentor and cross train existing staff members on the "to-be" Citrix environment.

Job Qualifications:
- Five (5+) years of hands-on Citrix design, construction, deployment, support and proactive monitoring experience in a large/enterprise organization.
- Deep understanding and practical working experience with Citrix virtual hosted desktop systems using XenApp 6.5/XenDesktop 5.5, Provisioning Services (PVS), Citrix Web Interface/Storefront, NetScaler and EdgeSight a must.
- Deep understanding and practical working experience with Windows server operating systems and Active Directory/Group Policy (2008/2012).
- Citrix CCA certification.
- Experience working in a large/enterprise organization using ITIL/IT service management-oriented processes and practices.
- Business communication skills (written and verbal).
