CNC Programmer

Yoh has a contract-to-hire position for a CNC Programmer to join our client in Phoenix, AZ.

Job Responsibilities:

- The CNC Programmer will be responsible for the fabrication of prototype metal and parts and assemblies using electronic Master CAM/CAD data.
- The CNC Programmer will program, set up, and operate CNC Machining Centers and other Shop fabrication equipment.
- The CNC Programmer will also have the ability to work with Designers by giving feedback on form, fit, and manufacturability of components and assemblies.
- The CNC Machinist will also be responsible for installing hardware, equipment and assembly.

Job Qualifications:

- Minimum three (3) years of experience in operation of CNC Machining Centers.
- Must have experience in programming Mazak Lasers.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience programming with MasterCam.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in operation of Manual Machining equipment.
- Knowledge of speeds and feeds for various materials including: aluminium, stainless steel, and Inconel Alloy.
- Must be able to use lathe/drill press.

Preferred Job Skills/Experience/Knowledge:

- Knowledge of speeds and feeds for various materials including: titanium alloys.
- Experience in basic manual machining and turning is also highly desired.
- Knowledge of Haas CNC machining center.
