Data Analyst - Contract

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a Data Analyst to join our client in Phoenix, AZ.

Job Responsibilities:
- Fulfill data requests from sources both internal and external to client.

Job Qualifications:
- Operating Systems/Environment: MS Office three to five (3-5) years; MS Visio (3 - 5 years).
- Database Systems/Database Tools: SQL Server 2005/2008 (3-5 years - Solid knowledge of relational data and SQL Server 2005/2008 database objects); Transact-SQL (3-5 years - Solid knowledge of best query practices).
- Misc. Applications: Analytical ability (five (5) years - Ability to grasp, analyze and clearly document complex concepts.
- Investigative/detective orientation.
- Detail orientation, Problem solving skills. Grasp of the power of data and the criticality of its quality.
- Ability to perform to stated due dates and to produce expected results with little supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, IT/IS or Business.
- Familiarity with elementary statistical concepts, eg, descriptive statistics, regression.
