Established Mining Company positioned as a global market leader of GPS guidance controls seeks a Software Development Manager for its division in Tucson, AZ.
The Software Development Manager will work collaboratively within the Global Product Development team providing daily oversight of the Software Development Team. The right candidate will contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
What you†ll need?
- Experience working with policies and compliance measures within the Mining industry
- A relevant University qualification in Computing, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years commercial experience
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and their application in a team environment
- Understanding of the application of Design Patterns to software development
- Knowledge of Objective-C, C++ or Java on Windows and Linux platforms
- Expertise in Windows and Linux networking
- Experience with relational, object-relational and SQL model databases
Desirable (not required)
- Exposure to Scrum methodology
- Expertise in process engineering
What you will be doing?
- Leading a team of highly skilled engineers and developing strategies that resolve product issues
- Some domestic and international travel will be required for this position
