Job Description: IT Contracts & Negotiations Manager
This position will be an integral part of a growing company and will require extensive interaction and coordination with senior management. This person will oversee and supervise the prime contracts with all of our customers. This candidate must be a team player. The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the prime and sub- contracting process including proposals, pricing, negotiation, award, and administration. The candidate will interface with commercial and state and local government customers and provide guidance to the company's management team on contractual matters.
Duties will include but are not limited to the following:
-Develop appropriate winning strategies for major proposals in response to solicitations; negotiate terms and conditions for the resulting contracts; identify and mitigate contract risk; and negotiate NDA's and Teaming Agreements.
-Manage/coach/mentor contracts personnel charged with conducting Front End strategic assessments of business pursuits; review statements of work/contract terms, advise senior leadership of contractual risks and provide creative mitigation plans.
-Responsive to complex inquires from both internal and external customers regarding contractual issues by providing sound advice and guidance.
-Provide timely contractual advice on critical areas to the Program and Business Unit Leaders
-Cradle to grave contract administration.
-Work directly with the company senior management, program managers, and the finance organization in executing contracting process from formation through contract termination.
-Mentor and provide guidance to other contracts professionals
-Provide interpretation, guidance and risk assessment on contractual matters
- 5-10 Years of IT Outsourcing contract and negotiations experience.
- Strong related business experience.
- Bachelors Degree required. Advanced degree desired.
- Strong skills with office tools such as Powerpoint, Excel, Share Point, Outlook and Word.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong work ethic, willingness to get the job done within strict time constraints, can-do attitude, extremely patient and works extremely well with customers and executives at all levels.
