Description
Digital Loyalty team develops and enhances loyalty capabilities for domestic market. Functionality includes membershiprewards.com checkout experience, shopamex.com, B2B and B2C integrations for loyalty and membership rewards, Pay with Points integrations with merchants. We also provides converged services and integration services for loyalty platform.

Responsible for technical direction on Loyalty platforms and applications within the portfolio. Provides consulting expertise, leveraging business and technical knowledge to support business strategies and deliver business value. Play an integral role in building and enhancing the infrastructure required to support the platforms in terms of robustness, scalability, availability and efficiency. Works with Technical and Business Architects to ensure developments support the business and IT strategic plan. Work with technical team to provide architectural, design and development directions.

* Performs as a high-level, technical subject matter expert for the platform/applications supported (which may cover multiple applications)
* Has responsibility for the technical direction of the platform(s)/applications within the supported portfolio
* Ensures accuracy in terms of asset management for the portfolio supported
* May lead teams performing architecture initiatives from inception to conclusion
* Works with the Directors of Business and Technical Architecture to identify technical solutions and business process improvements in support of the business and IT strategic direction
* Interacts with business partners to share and direct architecture practices that may affect business solution delivery
* Ensures that platform(s) supported meet the business, technical and infrastructure needs by overseeing the health and well-being of the technical infrastructure
* Ensures that the following technical design documentation is completed to a high standard:
* Strategic design
* Technical roadmap
* Development project design
* Provides architectural governance, reviewing projects to ensure alignment to architectural and technical strategy

Qualifications

* Understanding at expert level of the Loyalty platforms and business processes
* Strong Effective communication skills Experienced in:
* IBM WebSphere Suite o Messaging Queues o WebSphere Integration Developer o WebSphere Application Server/Process Server
* Multiple Relational Database products
* Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Java/J2EE
* Web Services (Java and .Net)
* Creating innovative business solutions
* Ability to drive results with an emphasis on reducing cycle time and increasing speed to market of new products
* Focuses on the Customer and Client
* Builds and Leverages Relationships
* Communicates Effectively:
* Drives Innovation and Change
* Strong analytical skills, problem identification and resolution
* Develops Winning Strategies
Educational requirement:
* Typically holds a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field (or has equivalent work experience)
* Typically has prior experience in multiple IT disciplines with a proven understanding of architectural concepts (data, technical and solution), issues and trends
Preferred Additional:

Experience in application delivery on MYCA/NGI platform Experience in loyalty domain Service Oriented Architecture Experience in development on IBM Datapower appliance
