Customer Contact Capabilities and Services Technologies (CCCS) is a global development team supporting contact applications across all American Express (AXP) lines of business, both internally developed as well as applications purchased from third party vendors. The CCCS portfolio is currently integrated with numerous non-Voice applications on both distributed and Mainframe platforms.

This role will work closely with all CCCS locations and peers across Global Corporate Services Technologies providing consulting expertise, leveraging business and technical knowledge to support business strategies and deliver business value. The Senior Developer will be developing SQL queries into the Cisco UCCE application, and they will be using a vendor off the shelf application with its own proprietary software to define routing rules for incoming calls to AXP. The software and hardware integrate with a number of other applications as it is the core routing decisioning engine for AXP. The Cisco UCCE application interacts with Voice Response, Call Recording, MIS, Dialer, and other systems. This position can be based in Phoenix or Salt Lake City.

* Works on projects, applications, and platforms supporting contact applications
* Responsible for the timely delivery of development projects and may be involved in all aspects of the development life cycle, from requirements analysis and design through development, testing, implementation, and documentation
* Provides estimates for design, build, test, and implementation phases
* Regular code reviews to ensure alignment with development, implementation, and performance standards
* Conversion of program specifications into source code
* Provides updates to program specifications and implementation documentation
* Revises code based on test results
* Involved in various testing phases
* Escalates, provides feedback, and proposes changes to program/implementation specifications
* Interacts with the business to understand associated business processes
* Works with business analysts to determine and translate business requirements into technology solutions
* Ensures technical design documentation is completed to a high standard
* Performs software design, development, and documentation activities
* Provides hands-on technical expertise on all aspects of the project delivery life cycle

Qualifications

* Typically holds a Bachelor's or Master degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or has equivalent work experience
* Candidate must have experience with:
* Cisco UCCE application and associated components preferred
* Cisco CUIC Reporting tools preferred
* Systems analysis and design methodology
* Variety of software language
* Understanding of industry trends and tool
* Knowledge of manor contact routing platforms used in contact center
* PBX/ACD platform management
* Proficient in implementing Computer Telephony Integration with contact routing platform
* Knowledge of voice gateway
* Integrating Business Process Management systems with contact routing platform
* Working with major carrier networks and Intelligent Routing Platform
* Working with virtualized platforms in a multi-data center environment
* Microsoft SQ
* Windows Operating Systems
* Must be able to interface with end-user business and technology customers in an effective and positive manner
* Ability to lead, design, and execute activities to support a global contact routing platform
* Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams, business partners, and technology leaders
