Based in beautiful Scottsdale, AZ, we are a fast growing and leading digital marketing agency. As a smaller company, we have all the challenges and excitement associated with being a start-up but are backed by the resources of a large corporation. Our systems process massive volumes of data and push the envelope for scalability, reliability and performance. Due to growth, we are looking for an exceptional Sr. Java Developer that has experience developing highly scalable Web Applications. What you'll be doing:
- Help us rapidly develop, deliver and support great SaaS products.
- Participate in directing the ongoing evolution of our architecture and development process.
- Participate in code & design reviews and/or paired development.
- Research and develop innovative ideas for enhancing and expanding our products.
What you need to have:
1.) 3-5+ years of experience developing high quality software in Java including Web Applications.
2..) Expertise with Linux, Oracle and Tomcat systems.
3.) Comfortable working in an Agile environment.
4.) BS in Computer Science or equivalent level of experience
Nice to Have Skills:
1.) Experience with Big Data (Hadoop, HBase, Cassandra, Netezza, MapReduce)
2.) Experience working in a scrum based agile development process
3.) Experience working with scalable, high availability web based systems
4.) Experience using Hibernate, Maven and or Atlassian products.
5.) Experience with distributed key-store or columnar-store databases
6.) Experience with online advertising, statistical analysis or machine learning
