The Arizona State Retirement System Technology Services Division is seeking a Software Engineer. The primary technologies used are Java, the Spring Framework and Oracle databases. Successful candidates should be familiar with all facets of the software development life cycle and have experience developing for the Apache Tomcat Application Server. Candidates must possess an understanding of version control, configuration management, and the Apache Maven build process for multi-module applications. Candidates with experience writing functional tests using Selenium and knowledge about application security vulnerabilities are desired.

WORK HISTORY REQUIREMENTS:

A minimum of five years experience in Information Technology and a minimum of three years developing Java web applications are required. Experience or emphasis in systems analysis, application design, quality assurance, and the coordination of multiple enterprise systems to achieve overall system functionality is desirable. Previous work experience should demonstrate a commitment to team success.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelor's degree is highly desired; preferably in Software Development or Information Technology. Participation in continued education will be considered a plus.
