Intel Corporation has exciting Global Sourcing and Procurement (GSP) summer internship opportunities for Bachelor candidates. As a member of the GSP team, you will be a full business partner, making and influencing business decisions that optimize Intel's Supply Chain.

Business Group Overview

Employees in the GSP Organization that support Intel's Technology and Manufacturing Group are part of a worldwide network of manufacturing and assembly/test facilities that is responsible for Intel's procurement functions. GSP's Vision is to Shape the Supply Chain to Make the Impossible, Possible and our Mission is to be the leader in GSP strategies, sourcing and supply chain solutions that strengthen Intel's competitive advantage.

Responsibilities

The GSP Intern Program is structured as a 12 week assignment within an Intel GSP business group. Interns will undertake a project designed to utilize existing skills and experience and provide an opportunity for professional growth. Additionally, the GSP Intern Program includes practical training and educational events, networking/social opportunities, and exposure to senior leadership and the GSP community.

Intern projects are unique to the specific business need, but responsibilities and analyses may include:
- Environmental Social Governance
- Market Intelligence and Intellectual Property.
- New Contracts
- Inventory Management Systems
- Materials Handling System Redesign
- Risk mitigation
- Controls systems

Qualifications

Qualifications:

GSP is looking for Bachelor candidates specializing in Supply Chain Management. Ideal candidates will possess a firm grasp of Supply Chain fundamentals and demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, business strategy, innovation, influence, leadership and communication skills.
The ideal candidate will also have a demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, cross functional, team oriented environment. Direct supply chain experience, and/or technical degrees and experience are a plus. We have positions available in Portland, Oregon and Phoenix, Arizona.

Candidates must have the unrestricted right to work in the US without requiring sponsorship.
