TECHNICAL LEAD SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Location: Phoenix
Salary: Up to $100,000
Grade: C4
JOB SUMMARY:
The Technology Services Division is seeking a Software Engineer to function as a Technical Lead. The primary technologies uses are Java, the Spring Framework and Oracle databases. Successful candidates should be familiar with all facets of the software development lifecycle and have experience developing for the Apache Tomcat Application Server. Candidates must possess an understanding of version control, configuration management, and the Apache Maven build process for multi-module applications. Candidates with experience writing functional tests using Selenium and knowledge of application security vulnerabilities are desired.
WORK EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
A minimum of five years of experience in Information Technology and a minimum of three years developing Java web application are required. Previous work experience should demonstrate and ability to lead software developers. Experience or emphasis in systems analysis, application design, quality assurance, and the coordination of multiple enterprise systems to achieve overall system functionality is desirable. Previous work experience should demonstrate a commitment to team success.
EDUCATION:
A Bachelor’s degree is highly desired; preferably in Software Development of Information Technology. Candidates participating in continued education are desired.
