Enterprise Mobility and Remote Access Strategist (Job Number: 1304978)

Description

The job holder researches and recommends appropriate platforms, systems, infrastructure, operating systems, software, handsets and hardware to meet the mobile and remote access requirements of BNY Mellon's enterprise user base while maintaining all risk and information security policies and corporate standards and meeting enterprise objectives for system security, stability, usability and performance. S/he designs, implements, integrates and supports various mobile platforms, mobile devices (both corporate and personally liable), integration with existing productivity platforms, remote access solutions, security models, monitoring and control consoles, processes, procedures, policies, reporting and any related infrastructure, security, or networking components.

Job holder assists in the design of overall usability, security and performance objectives for the BNY Mellon mobile strategy and makes recommendations about the corporate technical direction. S/he will be responsible for direct input into the strategy for renovations to BNY Mellon enterprise wireless networks models from a design, usability, security, and performance perspective. S/he is involved in all phases of the research, analysis, design, development, proof of concept, pilot, and enterprise implementation processes, works with mobile and remote access architects to ensure that the architecture and networking design is appropriate and performs all necessary software installations and configurations and documents all necessary information in all environments.

Act as a team leader in delivering enterprise strategies, roadmaps, mobile and remote access best practices, and assist in developing tactical solutions to resolve issues and fill gaps as appropriate.

Contribute to multiple projects simultaneously to develop a comprehensive enterprise mobility strategy and roadmap.

Analyze mobile business, application and network challenges and design a comprehensive mobile solution that integrates seamlessly into the BNY Mellon environment.

*
Must have extensive knowledge of enterprise collaboration platforms and solutions and provide insight and direction on integrating mobile interfaces to those solutions into the existing BNY Mellon environment.

*
Experienced in all mainstream mobile development languages and platforms including HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, JQuery Mobile, XCode, Objective-C, Java/Android SDK, XAML, Visual Studio 2012, PhoneGap and other relevant Thin Client technologies.

*
Ability to establish and maintain relationships with various lines of business to gather requirements, fully understand their business processes and patterns, perform business analysis, and determine where and how mobile solutions can be implemented to increase business efficiency and productivity.

Ability to establish and maintain relationships with vendors, third party providers and carriers and will be required to work closely with many groups within BNY Mellon including Information Risk Management, Information Security, Compliance, Legal, Messaging, Infrastructure and Support, Networking, and other Strategic Technology groups.

*
Responsible for leading cost/benefit, pricing and complex ROI analysis exercises and defining enterprise cost models.

Qualifications

*
Minimum 7 years experience related to enterprise mobile and remote access strategy required.

*
Must have in-depth knowledge of enterprise strategies and related technical details regarding corporate liable mobile devices including BlackBerry Enterprise Server, Blackberry OS, BES 10, and enterprise strategies for leveraging historically consumer based mobile platforms and devices as corporate liable, such as iOS, Android, and WIN 8.

*
Must have in-depth knowledge of enterprise strategies and related technical details regarding personally liable device enablement for enterprise access and Bring Your Own Device strategies and experience launching, managing and maintaining a global, enterprise wide BYOD programs including not only personally liable mobile devises, but all personal computing devices.

*
Must have experience with remote access strategies and an in-depth knowledge of enterprise remote access solutions.

*
Must have expertise in developing detail-level business, functional and technical requirement documentation and application POC, Pilot and testing environments.

*
Must also have lead experience with implementing new or enhanced mobile platforms and applications into production.

*
Experience with designing and executing major infrastructure and software installations and implementing mobile and remote access security models and related platforms.

Job holder must be experienced at addressing a variety of technical (hardware, software, or application) problems. S/he must also be customer-service oriented, able to build cooperative relationships with people and have strong oral and written communication skills. Job holder must be an experienced problem solver who champions creative solutions and is able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. B.S. or B.A. or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree also required; certification beneficial.
