Description

The job holder oversees medium to large system development projects from inception to implementation. S/he is responsible for assembling the project team and assigning individual responsibilities. S/he develops detailed project plans and monitors project results for significant deviations. S/he manages vendor and client relations to ensure that project expectations are developed and met. S/he ensures adherence to current project management standard processes and ensures compliance to quality assurance policies.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years experience required with in-depth knowledge of technologies at use within the project(s) for which s/he is responsible.

Must have extensive experience with managing client expectations, implementing service improvement initiatives and communicating effectively with senior management on service-related issues.

*
Prior experience managing major impact projects and planning and tracking multiple complex projects required.

Job holder must also be customer-service oriented, able to build cooperative relationships with people and have strong oral and written communication skills. Job holder must be an experienced problem solver who champions creative solutions and is able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. B.S. or B.A. or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree beneficial; certification beneficial.
