We are looking for aSoftware Engineer for our Pittsburgh (PA) facility.

You will apply principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis to the design, development, testing, and evaluation of software and systems.

In your role as a Software Engineer, you will:

- Research, design, and develop computer software systems, in conjunction with hardware product development;
- Analyze software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints;
- Consult with hardware engineers and other engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, and overall system operational and performance requirements.Act as company representative during customer review relative to proposal meetings, design reviews, project status meetings, and field commissioning;
- Formulate and design software system, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design;
- Develop and direct software testing procedures, programming and documentation.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate, you possess:

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering;
- A 0 to 3 years of experience with software programming;
- Advanced knowledge of C and C++ in Windows or Linux environment. C# (asset);
- Excellent English communication skills written and spoken.

Additional information: The incumbent of this position must be able to travel 5 % domestic or international depending on project.
