Director, eCommerce

This role is the senior E-commerce technology leader for Pizza Hut's U.S. corporate and franchise supported restaurant and is responsible for anticipating Pizza Hut's longer term digital needs and execution plans to drive sales, conversion and loyalty.

This role will provide strategic thought leadership and ensure execution for plans that shift IT focus and budget toward cutting-edge innovation, delivering technology solutions that will drive customer mania, sales and operational excellence. This position is a critical part of developing and executing digital technology strategies to bring this vision to life.

A successful leader in this role must bring strong, multi-faceted development expertise as well as demonstrated and seasoned success in owning broader IT. solutions strategy & execution including E-commerce strategies for a sizeable business, effectively managing business and vendor relationships.

Additionally, candidates should have a strong drive for innovation, a desire to stay on the cutting edge of technologies and a proven track record for introducing and successfully operationalizing new technology platforms. This position includes leadership accountabilities that are long term (strategic customer solutions aligning with Pizza Hut's 2-3 year road map), mid-term (annual brand project planning and delivery) and short-term (issue resolution).

- Direct the development strategy, integration and maintenance of all Pizza Hut E-commerce and mobile technologies.
- Design technological solutions for business initiatives. This represents a tremendous amount of strategic planning, project leadership, cross-functional leadership and flawless execution.
- Responsible for the E-commerce and Architecture team supporting Pizza Hut. This function manages the technology interface and integration aspects of multiple solutions (specifically Web Ordering, Mobile applications, New Technology Architecture for Restaurants systems and Mapping systems)
- Lead career growth, training, and cultural engagement of teams.
- Negotiate and drive approval process for contracts or statements of work and manage vendors to resolve issues and implement new technologies.
- Work with and report to PMO on project status and financial detail when required
- Manage Franchisee client relationships as the expert in the area of Pizza Hut Digital technologies.

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION :
Masters in Management with Specialization in Technology or Equivalent
EXPERIENCE (and other qualifications):

Broad application and development experience fortified by deep expertise in managing the development and ongoing enhancement of E-commerce applications is required. Demonstrated ability to work in a rapid development environment.

Minimum 10+ years of experience in systems design, project management, Web application development, technology deployment in a large scale businesses, and technical staff leadership responsibilities.

Strong combination of technical, business and people leadership skills. Outstanding communication and presentation skills are required to be effective at customer interaction as well as a demonstrated track record for influencing and leading strategic change. Must be able to distill technical matters down into messages that can be broadly understood across the enterprise. Must be able to work with senior leaders in client functions and within RIS (IT) to manage expectations and gain alignment on technology implementation topics. Negotiation skills required for vendor management.
