About the Role and Responsibilities

Location: Plano, Texas, Santa Clara, CA, Beaverton, OR, or Denver, CO

About the Role:


Working with the America's IT Organization this role will be part of the Enterprise Client Services team responsible for the development and future direction of the Endpoint workspace environment, infrastructures and day to day internal IT support for McAfee's shared services

Key Responsibilities:

-Respond to requests for IT assistance that have been filtered by the Tier 2 (Field Operations staff) for resolution.

-Support approx. 8000 users in a heterogeneous environment of OSX/Windows and Mobile Devices

Qualifications

Required Experience/Skills & Education:

-Proven customer service experience

-Previous deep-level troubleshooting experience in an IT environment

-Executive support experience

-Strong communication skills (verbal/written)

-Strong organizational, prioritization and decision making skills

-
Experience with desktop imaging software

-Experience with PPTP/DSL/VPN/RSA security

-Expert level OSX and IT Enterprise knowledge

-Active Directory integration

-OS X Unix knowledge (Terminal commands)

-In depth knowledge in supporting the Mac OS X/OS X (10.7 and later) Client operating system

-Scripting essentialI

-Image and Application packaging and deployments

-Technical Support

-System Setup

-Maintenance

-Knowledge to support and deploy McAfee core suite of security products:

-VSE

-HIPS

-EPE

-ePO

-Product closed-loop feedback into Development organization on product performance and supportability

Preferred:

-Support of Mac OS X clients in an Microsoft Active Directory Enterprise

-Single Sign On and Certificate Experience

-Scripting with view to automate manual tasks

-Large scale deployment experience

-Process compliance

-Knowledge of the ITIL Framework.

-Windows 2003-2008 Server support experience
