JCPenney is undergoing major change in the Human Resource and Payroll areas. As a result, we are replacing our current HR/Payroll system. We are looking for a PeopleSoft Technical Lead to implement PeopleSoft version 9.2 by leveraging best practices and streamlining business processes.
The position will play an integral part in the company's initiatives including but not limited to:
Interface with business team, Super Users, and various members of the project team to drive the adoption of People Soft 9.2 modules and re-engineer business processes across the project lifecycle. Educate and guide users on effective and efficient approaches to utilizing modules, tools and data.
Provide expert technical guidance (configuration review and setup, functional troubleshooting, setup changes, queries and data analysis, etc.) for PeopleSoft HR\Payroll and related interfaces to ensure availability and reliability of solutions.
Lead technical developers in designing, developing, and testing custom workflows, extensions, interfaces and Legacy data conversion.

Required Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to talk to C-levels and end users alike.
Solid PeopleSoft technology skills including knowledge of Micro Focus Cobol, SQR, Application Engine, PeopleCode, PeopleTools, Component Interface, Application Designer, strong SQL skills and integration Broker(Web Services) experience.
Proven ability with a variety of application development languages such as VBA, .NET, and ASP required. XML Publisher, .net C#, SAML 2.0, Tibco, Informatica, jscape, Connect Direct.
Comprehensive understanding of core processes as well as industry best practices within the PeopleSoft 9.0 or higher.
Experience with complex implementations requiring large integration efforts.
Experience with PeopleSoft Payroll required.
