You will participate in detailed technical design, development and implementation of applications using existing and emerging technology platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build superior quality, high performing applications.
- Document and communicate designs, framework functions and interfaces to other members of the team.
- Participate in architecture reviews, design reviews and code reviews.
- Identify, diagnose and address performance and stability issues of the application.
- Develop automated unit test cases.
- Prototype and champion new technology introductions to drive web and mobile capabilities.
- Effectively represent technical capabilities and strategies to diverse internal teams, as well as to business customers.
- Drive effective technical execution as a member of Agile sprint team.
- Be a respected technical role model and mentor for the development team.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 4 years of experience in Application Development using Java/J2EE
- 2 year experience developing web applications using JSPs, JSTL and Web 2.0 technologies(like Ajax, JQuery, JSON).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- Microsoft/Sun Certification, Java, NET, SQL, Oracle, UNIX
- Understanding of Java/J2EE design patterns.
- Familiarity with Spring framework and Eclipse based development environments.
- Familiarity with Apache Tomcat server and Apache WebServer configurations.
