Software Configuration Manager

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a Software Configuration Manager to join our client in Plano, Texas.

Job Responsibilities:

- Software Configuration Management:

- Performs and manages software builds and releases to System verification and production.
- Responsible for development and maintenance of an automated build process.
- Administer bug tracking system (ie Bugzilla.).
- Manage CVS or Clear Case version control software.
- Prepare Release Notes for builds and patch releases with a critical eye for accuracy.
- Source code Management.

- Project and Solution Configuration management:

- Monitoring and controlling of product baselines throughout product life cycle.
- Administration of change control board activities and ensuring that changes are tracked and controlled.
- Management software product life cycle from development through product maintenance phase.
- Documentation handling and versioning of documentation for delivery to system verification and production.

Job Qualifications:

- Skilled in using SCM concepts.
- Understanding of software builds automation tools.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Strong organizational and presentation skills.
- Solid communication and people skills.
- Skilled at using Microsoft office products especially Excel, PowerPoint and MS Office.
- Skilled in product release management process.
- High level knowledge of the PROP-C process.
- Skilled in requirements handling and control of project baseline.
