Instructional Designer, Digital Campus Database
* Work with course editors and production editor throughout the Digital Campus manuscript editing process to assure that the course will fit within the Digital Campus content management system (CMS) template
* Enter online course and Reference Library content into the Digital Campus website using Sitecore CMS dashboard
* Keep Digital Campus file structure clean and organized
Design
* Design charts, slideshows, and other images for use in Digital Campus courses using primarily Adobe design software - Photoshop, Illustrator, and In Design
* Simple image preparation (resizing and optimizing) for use on the web
* PDF creation and optimization with Adobe Acrobat
* Set up and manage small groups of co-workers to QA Digital Campus courses once loaded into the site and assure that any errors are corrected.
* Participate in research and decision making for future site features and improvements
* Create and maintain customer-facing and internal documents pertaining to the Digital Campus (help documentation, certificates of completion, tracking spreadsheets, etc.)
Marketing
* Design magazine ads, brochures, catalogue pages, postcards, signage, and other print collateral for the Digital Campus and other professional development products
* Assist with copywriting for marketing pieces as needed
* Work with outside print vendors and magazines to deliver files in their preferred format - collecting and providing fonts, PDFs, etc.
* Design and export images for use on Heinemann.com and email marketing campaigns
* Set up surveys using SurveyMonkey.com
* Assist with PowerPoint presentations and other materials to be shown and distributed at internal meetings and tradeshows
Video
* Develop concepts and write scripts for video presentations
* Assist videographer with images for video, using primarily Photoshop. Examples of images include lower third captions, background images, and product photo isolation work.
