Job Description: Batch Applications and Interfaces Onsite Technical Lead

As a dedicated member of the project team the Technical Lead will be primarily responsible for detailed technical design, coding and unit testing activities. The Technical Lead will also participate in requirements JADs, logical design, implementation and support application deployment activities in CGI/Customer environments.

- Required: Strong Java development skills and experience
- Highly desirable: Prior experience developing batch jobs using Spring Batch framework.
- Prepare Detailed designs for Batch applications and interfaces
- Work with architects and business analysts to assure that architectural and business requirements are properly reflected in detailed designs and developed code.
- Schedule and facilitate Design and Code Reviews
- Co-ordinate onsite and offshore resources to code and unit test batch Jobs.
- Co-ordinate development team resources and activities to support formal testing activities and defect resolution.

Experience and Skills:

- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science/Math/Engineering
- Proven Experience on an enterprise-level J2EE Projects
- Strong Analytical and communication skills
- Experience working closely with offshore development teams
- 5 years development experience with Java, JavaScript, Spring, JSP, Hibernate, JDBC, XML, SOAP/REST & Oracle SOA Stack
- Prior experience developing batch jobs using Spring Batch framework.
- Understanding and experience in Object-Oriented Design Principles
- Prior Health Insurance experience is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
