What you need for this position:
- Four year degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials or Quality Engineering
- Working knowledge of ISO, FMEA and SPC
- Green Belt or higher Six Sigma Certification
- 2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing/assembly setting.
Pluses:
- Black Belt Certification
- German language proficiency of any level
- Strong SAP background
- Metal Fabrication experience
- Consumer/Home Appliance industry
What you'll be doing:
The Product Quality Engineer reports to our Quality Department and is accountable for organizing and testing and inspecting manufactured products and in-house fabricated components
- Manage the sign-off and release of in house parts, new models and variants from a Quality perspective
- Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of Production Systems tools
- Investigate root causes and implement correction actions for faults found in late stage testing.
- Manage day to day activities of our Final Audit and Test group.
- Back up Supplier Quality Engineering as needed
- Collaborate with Production and Manufacturing Engineering to improve Quality and related processes
- Manage several internal Quality systems and issue both internal and external quality holds as needed.
