Position Description
This position is a new role in the bank and it will lead the development of Information Technology's approach to resource managing and planning. They will partner with the Corporate Project Office and Resource Managers across Information Technology to enable and facilitate resource allocation, resource forecasting, and overall resource planning at the role, individual, team, and department level. They will conduct analysis, develop processes and implement procedures to help:
- Identify resource/skill set gaps
- Improve forecasting and capacity planning
- Optimize resource utilization
- Create reports/dashboards for IT Management and Senior leadership.
Position Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor degree with a minimum of 4 years resource planning/management experience.
-Or-
High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 8 years resource planning/management experience.
Additional Requirements:
Experience developing and implementing a repeatable, efficient and effective approach to resource management.
Experience partnering with Resource/Project Managers.
Experience with demand forecasting and helping establish future resource planning.
Understanding of project management lifecycle.
Experience with Project and Portfolio Management tools.
Experience with MS Project and Sharepoint.
Strong communication skills (oral and written).
Strong quantitative, analytical, and conceptual thinking skills.
Other Preferred Qualifications:
PMP Certified.
Clarity Experience.
