Position Description
The Systems Support Analyst is part of a team, consisting of Analysts and Programmers that support Loan Origination applications.
Job responsibilities are:
- Evaluating business unit and end user requests to determine whether they are new or production issues.
- Responding to end-user questions, develops and executes test scripts, and reviews and analyzes test results.
- Working with technical staff on current and new system modifications, testing modifications to ensure they meet defined requirements, participating in sessions to collect requirements from the business and end user groups as well as prepare, distribute, and present system documentation to end users in addition to preparing ad-hoc reports.
- Responsible for handling confidential and otherwise sensitive information.
- Participating from beginning to end in the systems development life cycle and/or the operations support model.
- Receives the initial request from a business unit or end-users, assists in defining need/request within the current application or system, participates in sessions to develop solutions among end users and technical staff, reviews options, participates in the definition of issues and associated risks, and finally participates in the design and testing of the ultimate solution.
- Assist in account, balance, and data reconciliation in situations where customers are being impacted and production is being delayed and assist in notifying technical staff.
Position may be filled as a Systems Support Analyst II or Systems Support Analyst III depending upon experience/skills of the selected candidate.
Position Requirements
Bachelor degree with a minimum of 4 years banking/financial experience as an analyst or tester within a data processing environment

High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 8 years banking/financial experience as an analyst or tester within a data processing environment.
Additional Requirements:
Ability to Manage and Facilitate Business Requests.
Technically proficient in software including MS Word, Excel, & Visio.
Strong communication skills (oral and written).
Strong quantitative, analytical, and conceptual thinking skills/characteristics.
Design skills necessary to create and execute moderately complex test plans.
Analytical skills necessary to perform analysis as part of business assessment projects.
Ability to perform and complete assignments with guidance.
Ability to document and communicate in business language policies and procedures.
Ability to participate in design sessions.
Ability to participate in the development of or review of analytical reports gathered via Easytrieve, CompareX, FileAid, VBScript, or other system tools.
Ability to perform structured analysis & design.
Other Preferred Qualifications:
Loan Origination application support/maintenance experience.
Business Process Re-engineering.
Database/SQL experience.
Ability to program and/or read Scripting languages.
Prefer Associate's or Bachelor's degree experience.
