Position Description
The Systems Support Analyst will be working with Personal Online banking applications, as part of a team with Programmers/Senior Programmers and other Analysts.
Job responsibilities are:
- Evaluating business unit and end user requests to determine whether they are new or production issues.
- Responding to end-user questions, develops and executes test scripts, and reviews and analyzes test results.
- Working with technical staff on current and new system modifications, testing modifications to ensure they meet defined requirements, participating in sessions to collect requirements from the business and end user groups as well as prepare, distribute, and present system documentation to end users in addition to preparing ad-hoc reports.
- Responsible for handling confidential and otherwise sensitive information.
- Participating from beginning to end in the systems development life cycle and/or the operations support model.
- Receives the initial request from a business unit or end-users, assists in defining need/request within the current application or system, participates in sessions to develop solutions among end users and technical staff, reviews options, participates in the definition of issues and associated risks, and finally participates in the design and testing of the ultimate solution.
- Assist in account, balance, and data reconciliation in situations where customers are being impacted and production is being delayed and assist in notifying technical staff.
Please note this position may be filled as a Systems Support Analyst II or Systems Support Analyst III depending upon the skills of the selected candidate.
Position Requirements
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 4 years banking/financial experience as an analyst or tester within a data processing environment required.
-OR-
High school diploma/GED with a minimum of 8 years banking/financial experience as an analyst or tester within a data processing environment required.

Strong communication skills (oral and written).
Strong quantitative, analytical, and conceptual thinking skills.
Exceptional ability to perform structured analysis & design following a structured approach.
Technically proficient in software including MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project, & Visio.
Ability to perform and complete assignments within application specialty with minimal guidance.
Ability to program (eg Easytrieve, SQL, VBScript) if necessary and review computer programs (eg Cobol, SQL, VB).
Ability to document and communicate in business language policies and procedures that will be coded in programs such as Cobol, Visual Basic, C++, VBScript, or others .
Ability to participate in RAD, JAD, and other design sessions.
Participate in business assessment projects
Participate in the development of analysis reports through information gathered via Easytrieve, CompareX, FileAid, Cognos, NetView to determine and assess impact or action to be taken to correct problems with account and balance data.
Ability to multi-task supporting day-to-day production issues and new assignments.
