Job Description: Senior Test Analyst

Seeking a Sr. Test Analyst who will work closely with the development team during design and development to understand requirements and work with a team of test analysts to develop and execute test cases and scripts.

The Sr. Test Analyst will review requirements and design documents to develop a business understanding of applications, oversee the development of test cases, scripts and execution, and identify test data needs while providing guidance to a team of test analysts. Additional responsibilities also include establishing and maintaining requirement traceability to test cases, troubleshooting test results and analyzing root cause, communicating defects to developers, managing deliverables in accordance with the project schedule, identifying and escalating testing issues, and providing test metrics and progress reports.

The candidate must have demonstrated experience in Test and Project Management, understanding of testing best practices and SDLC methodologies, as well as strong problem-solving abilities and leadership skills.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a technical institute
- At least 5 years testing experience planning and executing system and system integration tests
- Experience using test management software (eg HP Quality Center or Rational Quality Manager)
- Experience using Defect management software (eg ClearQuest)
- Experience leading and mentoring a team of multiple testers
- Understand testing best practices
- Experience managing test data including creation and mining using data management tools
- Client management and reporting skills
- Proven experience with testing complex user interfaces
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
