In this case, we seek a designer with a broad set of skills. A designer with experience delivering desirable and feasible visual design, look and feel programs, scalable information architecture, and redlines, CSS, specs, etc. In particular, we seek to round out our design team with a visual designer with experience in both web services and productivity applications.

We are looking for a visual designer leader who can:
Drive the design of product scenarios from initial concept through final implementation

Understand how to utilize customer and user research to drive visual design and brand programs within a single product or across a suite of related and unrelated products

Create or apply brand identity and collateral, partnering with relevant stakeholders on brand implementation

Build respect and credibility with stakeholders, fellow designers, program managers, and developers

Embrace ambiguity, articulate tradeoffs, meet challenging deadlines
Clearly and persuasively communicate and present design concepts and solutions

Illustrate a command of common design and prototyping methods and tools

Possess strong drawing, iconography, storyboarding, and production skills

Prototyping and Scripting skills a plus

Minimum Qualifications:
All candidates must provide a resume, an online portfolio, and relevant work samples along with inquiries

4+ years of experience in product/web/interaction design

Preferred Qualifications:
Corporate experience preferred in addition to agency or other experience

Strong visual and graphic design experience: development of new look and feel programs, brand, page patterns, implementation, composition, layout hierarchy, typography, and color; experience with interaction design and ownership of entire design programs end-to-end preferred

Proven ability to drive complex design issues across organizations and disciplines

Bachelor's or Master's in graphic design or fine art or related field preferred. May be substituted with significant industry experience and accomplishments.
