Access is being reimagined as a service for the modern computing landscape, using SQL Server and SQL Azure as our core, and enabling compelling user experiences on multiple endpoints, ranging from Windows to the web, and across multiple form factors. We are looking for technical program managers who have worked with databases - in particular SQL Server or Access of old. Ideally, we need a person who can speak the T-SQL language and who has built real world applications on top of SQL. We also need someone who can collaborate across division boundaries, who can forge and maintain a strong relationship with the SQL organization, and who can help both teams to create a programming environment where end user developers will be successful.

You will be expected to understand your end user's goals and needs, and develop feature specifications that clearly communicate those needs. These specifications must consider the whole experience, taking functionality, execution, and customer value into account. You will also work with our design, development, and test teams across the Office and Server and Tools divisions to ensure that your features will be of the highest caliber possible.

Required skills:
Minimum of 4 years of Program Management experience
Knowledge of SQL technologies such as T-SQL
Demonstrated skills working across divisional boundaries
Experience working with hosted services is preferred
BS or higher degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
