Information Security and Risk Management is looking for a seasoned and dynamic program manager to continue developing and manage MSIT's Information Security Monitoring Services program. This program will focus on developing and expanding existing monitoring capabilities and extending specialized monitoring services to high value resources, business processes and users. This program has executive-level visibility and is one of MSIT's key initiatives. We need a highly motivated, dynamic individual to establish a robust framework and apply rigor and disciplined execution to the program to ensure that we achieve optimal return on investment of resources and reduce overall security risk.
Responsibilities:
- Enhance enterprise quality Information Security Monitoring Services program
- Collaborate with internal Information Security Monitoring customers as well as other operational teams
- Oversee implementation of new Information Security Monitoring functionality
- Drive pilot programs for new Information Security Monitoring technologies
- Drive product enhancements in 3rd party Information Security Monitoring software
- Budget forecasting for Information Security Monitoring enhancements and maintenance
- Keep management informed of Information Security Monitoring roadmap and current levels of progress
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Experience managing enterprise-level programs with either national or international scope
- Exceptional leadership skills, including the ability to influence without authority
- 10+ years combination of program/project management and leadership roles
- Experience developing program performance metrics, evaluation criteria, and key decision points
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated experience providing written and verbal presentations to senior executives, executive bodies, and/or government officials
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate and manage change in a highly dynamic environment
- Strong analytic skills
- Demonstrated ability to make prioritization and trade-off recommendations that support program execution
- Demonstrated success as a member of a highly collaborative team
- Ability to create artifacts with Microsoft information worker technologies
