The Core Windows Azure team is looking for a senior program manager to work on a unique and highly visible role with major scope to impact our future international and new market segments. You will be responsible for defining and driving execution of the design, architecture and implementation for multiple large feature areas. You will have the opportunity to create new features in a broad range of technical areas, integrate with multiple component teams inside Windows Azure, Cloud & Enterprise as well as across the company such as Applications & Services. This is a highly visible role so you should be comfortable presenting to senior executives and working with external customers and partners as needed.

Ideal candidates should demonstrate:
Experience working on Microsoft (or other industry) large scale services
Engineering for distributed, reliable and scalable systems
strong analytical skills and pragmatic technical judgment to assess and make the right decisions
experience presenting plans and getting buy off with senior technical leaders
cross group collaboration with the ability to influence and drive change cross group

This position may require travel inside the United States and internationally as needed. Ideal candidates should feel comfortable operating with large amounts of reasonability and autonomy. Candidates should have minimum of 8 years Program Management experience and a degree in Computer Science and other related technical disciplines.
