Azure Security, Privacy and Compliance Product Planner
The Azure Security, Privacy and Compliance team is looking for a thought leader who wants to drive the future of the cloud for modern business. As a Product Planner, you will have the unique opportunity to influence our product and business strategy by conducting customer research, competitive analysis, industry analysis, and ultimately delivering both strategic and tactical recommendations to the product teams.
The skill set required to excel as a Product Planner includes strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. In addition, a successful candidate should be able to: Think strategically about business issues; Understand new technologies, particularly in the areas of security, privacy and compliance in cloud services and their benefits to decision makers, IT Professionals, Developers and End-users; Synthesize large amounts of information into crisp recommendations; Present and defend recommendations to a variety of audiences, such as executives, program managers, and developers; and Discover and evaluate new business opportunities in security, privacy and compliance in cloud services by creating customer-driven plans backed by solid market and financial analysis. Candidate should also be a self-starter who can manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to completion effectively. Such projects will demand strong working relationships and interactions with customers, senior executives, technical leaders, and other product & marketing groups within Microsoft.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the high-tech industry as product planner, product manager, project manager, program manager, or management consultant.
- Broad technical understanding and industry experience in infrastructure elements and cloud services.
- Experience with marketing research is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree required and an MBA is strongly preferred.
