Office 365 (O365) brings together cloud versions of our most trusted communications and collaboration offerings such as Exchange, SharePoint and Lync with the latest version of our desktop suite for businesses of all sizes. O365 is at the center of Microsoft's cloud service strategy.
The O365 Engineering team sits at the Nexus between these offerings and their users. Our team builds experiences that unify the Office suite in the eyes of not only our customers but also the other core O365 service engineering teams. The O365 Tenant Lifecycle team needs a Sr. Program Manager to help design and deliver a data-driven services platform that ultimately exposes O365 features to our customers. This service platform will be built on a mountain of service intelligence and customer data, will provide for orchestration of changes, while maintaining a great connection with the customer through communication and persistent reporting.

Candidates should have:
5 + years strong technical program manager background with a proven track record in developing and shipping software or services; experience with Platform as a Service or Change Management products is preferred
Demonstrated collaboration skills that require influencing peers and leaders to embrace a new vision
Passion for customers and driving customer feedback into a product
Solid operational skills to contribute to service fundamentals for an evolving (only 1 year old) service

Preferred Qualifications:
BS degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience is preferred

Candidates must be able to meet customer security screening requirements as indicated for this role. Customer screening requirements may include additional items such as, but not limited to: specialized agency background checks (either national or local) and fingerprinting. All employees hired into roles supporting Cloud Offerings will also be required to pass Microsoft background checks prior to the start of employment and every two years thereafter.
