Software Test Technician

Yoh has a contract position for a Software Technician to join our client in Redmond, WA.

Job Responsibilities:
- The Software Technician responsible for performing Automation, Stress, Load tests on different platforms.
- Engage with the Engineering teams in testing software updates, and test cases execution.
- Manage and optimize the test application to be tested under a user environment infrastructure.
- Recommending new test cases and maintains/automates test procedures to properly validate system under test.
- Respond to all system problems, with emphasis on how to duplicate problem encountered during testing

Job Qualifications:
- Minimum two (2) plus years of platform or software testing experience or equivalent knowledge
- Experience with the installation, monitoring, testing and troubleshooting of a platform.
- Ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of Windows Scripting, client platforms and their associated software (drivers, BIOS, FW, etc.)
- Solid skills in software, hardware, devices, applications, and drivers
- Expertise in problem-solving, analysis, and on information/computer systems
- Excellent skills in troubleshooting software and hardware problems
- Scripting, development and/or test automation experience in a Windows environment
