As a Test Manager in Windows Azure Application Platform Team (AAPT), you will be responsible for driving our unified Azure UX framework, that spans all enterprise services from Microsoft, and drive end to end quality & KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for several core Azure services like billing, marketplace, monitoring, analytics, auto-scaling, diagnostics etc. In addition, you will be responsible for the overall delivery and quality of the recently announced Windows Azure Pack, a critical piece in Microsoft's 3 cloud strategy that bridges the public, private and hosted cloud. You'll be responsible for partnering with various teams across Windows Azure engineering, Identity & Access, Visual Studio, SQL, System Center and over 20 partners to understand how to build a consistent one Microsoft service story. As part of this role, you will be managing a team of high-energy and passionate engineering leads and individual contributors and be responsible for their growth and impact to the overall business. This role will allow you to work across a breadth of technologies & features, spanning the entire Windows Azure platform and own services that touch millions of lives every day.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving end-to-end quality, scalability, manageability, performance, KPIs and agile delivery of multiple feature areas/services by working with multiple component teams within Windows Azure. Further, the ability to partner with your development and program management peers, be able to make trade-offs, negotiate, and build consensus, all while keeping the project goals in mind; work successfully across complex cross group challenges are going to be critical to being successful in this role.

Qualifications:
- 10+ years management and leadership experience in engineering
- 10+ years of experience as a Test Architect or Test Manager or Development manager/lead who has helped set the strategic quality direction for server products or services
- Deep experience with systems level measurement and monitoring as well as test automation
- Experience with cloud platforms and services
- Strategic Insight for creating Engineering Systems
- Drive for Customer Focused Innovation
- Ability to manage complex customer and partner relationships
- BS/MS Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
