Microsoft Host Integration Server technologies and tools enable enterprise organizations to integrate existing IBM host systems, programs, messages and data with new Microsoft server applications. Our team helps Microsoft customers to migrate workloads from IBM Mainframe systems to Windows Server and Windows Azure.

The team is looking for an experienced test manager with passion for cross-platform interoperability and proven success in delivering mission-critical enterprise solutions, to be a champion of quality for Microsoft customers.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage team of individual contributor software design engineers in test Negotiate and coordinate service level agreements with partner operations and technology teams Design, code and analyze test cases for end-to-end solutions using host integration technology and tools Measure and report compliance with customer requirements, technical specifications, and release criteria Improve the software development process, manage project risks, diagnose and resolve issues

Basic Qualifications
3-5 years of people management or lead experience, leading a software development or QA team Ability to learn existing and new Host Integration Server and other Microsoft technologies and tools Success in delivering 2 or more major product releases of mission-critical enterprise-ready software Experience developing a vision, leading and managing a team of software design engineers in test Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent discipline or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of IBM proprietary and industry-standard protocols and formats for Microsoft-IBM platform interoperability, including: SNA; APPC; CPI-C; HPR/IP; FMI; RUI; SLI; DLC; 3270; 5250 Success in utilizing Microsoft technologies and tools, including: Host Integration Server; BizTalk Server; SQL Server; Visual Studio; .NET Framework; C#; COM+; C++; ODBC; OLE DB; ADO.NET Entity Framework; WMI; PowerShell
