Housed within Microsoft's MOD division, the Office Services Design studio is looking for a UX Designer with a passion for end-user focused design and communication, collaboration & productivity experiences. The team is looking to elevate its product through stellar interaction, visual, and motion design. Our UX team is a close community of researchers and designers who work, think, and play together.

Overview/Primary Responsibilities:

The candidate will be an integral part of a larger team designing software applications and service driven application suites. Candidate will assist in identifying, generating and evolving behavioral design patterns, user mental models, and design language across large scale desktop and mobile design frameworks, document and deliver innovative end-to-end experiences.

Qualifications:

3+ years of work related experience required. Must have ability to demonstrate experience with fundamental user-centered design principles, where a solid knowledge of interaction design process and tools (developing navigation flow, wireframes and information architecture) is comined with strong visual design skills and the ability to iterate based on user research.

Strong communication and time management skills are required. Ability to self-motivate and deliver high quality work under constant deadline constraints. Must have the ability to understand technology issues and communicate information effectively. Proficiency in standard design software packages a must. Motion design skills/knowledge is a plus.

Portfolio review required. Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Industrial Design or related area required. A combination of education and experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree.
