Join a small and elite team of Business Analysts to become a key customer facing leader on a major eCommerce development project.
The Business Analyst is a key customer facing position. The Business Analyst is part of the on-site team, closely working together with the customer on collecting and understanding business requirements; and with the Client Architect and on-site engineering team to align requirements with architecture. In order to create robust and extensive requirements document, the Systems Analyst should have in-depth knowledge of customer business domain and have excellent technological background.
The Business Analyst is responsible for communicating created requirements to the engineering team in the form of user stories or usage cases. The Analyst is also responsible for constantly ensuring that the implementation of the system satisfies business requirements. After the implementation, the Business Analyst signs off on the user stories and participates in the final customer sign off.

What you need for this position:
- BS in CS or MIS, or Engineering, plus experience analyzing, clarifying and translating business and system requirements into functional specification documents (defining the detailed features and functions that make up the solution)
- Experience with Java/J2EE, SOA or Web services
- High-level understanding of systems design and technical concepts
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience creating system interface specifications, documenting the business process flow as well as interface rules
- Team player who enjoys collaborating with analysts, architects, design and development teams and project managers
- Experience with Ecommerce highly desirable
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work successfully with a highly diverse team
