Striiv, Inc. seeks Senior Algorithms Architect - Responsible for architecting and driving development of all algorithms initiatives for Striiv products, including software development for a variety of physical sensors, communications signals such as Global Positioning System (GPS) and assisted GPS. Duties include using simulation environment to validate the theoretical model; performing a hardware efficient re-targeting on multiple hardware targets for Real Time tuning and optimization; driving methodologies for testing and validation of the system to compare simulation and Real Time playback on the target hardware; optimizing and tuning algorithms from real-world testing data for all sensors, GPS, and assisted GPS; developing patents to contribute to Striiv's intellectual property; and coordinating work with Algorithm and Engineering teams overseas. Req. M.S. or equiv. in Electrical Engg, Comp. Sci, Comp. Engg, Applied Science or in a related Engr field plus 3 years of exp. as a Software (SW) Engr, SW Developer, SW Architect, Algorithm Architect, Sr. Engr, Lead Engr, Staff Engr or in a related occupation. Also requires experience w/GPS algorithm development and simulation; Assembly code optimization and development; MATLAB simulation of communication, GPS and sensor processing; setting up validation and test environments for non-deterministic communications systems including MATLAB, C-simulation and raw-data playback on the target; Audio Signal Processing and filtering; performing low power optimization for firmware; and developing architecture for over-the-air and over-the-wire updating.
